Professional percussionist specializing in Afro-Caribbean, Latin, and flamenco percussion, as well as in percussion setups across a variety of musical genres.


He studied music theory at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona and trained with renowned percussionists in Flamenco, Afro-Caribbean, and Latin traditions. He deepened his studies with several stays in Cuba, immersing himself in Afro-Cuban music.


He has performed and toured both nationally and internationally with various groups, appearing in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

MUSIC EDUCATOR

Percussion teacher with over 20 years of experience in various educational institutions and in private instruction.


He has taken part in several community-based projects through music education, developing musical pedagogies and working closely with professionals in social education and integration.


He has also taught percussion at Integrasons, an association that promotes the well-being and development of children and young people in vulnerable situations through collective musical practice.

SOCIOLOGIST AND ANTHROPOLOGIST

Graduate in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holder of a master's degree in Ethnographic Research, Anthropological Theory, and Intercultural Relations from the same university.


Author of the book Com i per a qui es dissenya la ciutat (How and for Whom Is the City Designed?), published by Icaria Editorial.


He worked for 10 years at FAD leading the project FAD Opinion Networks, advocating for the political and social dimensions of design in areas such as urban planning, public space, housing, tourism, heritage, and public art, while also collaborating on initiatives addressing corruption and inequality.


In the social sector, he works in the fields of participation and equality, both in civic organizations and in the private sector, and currently works at the consulting firm MOON.
