TRAINING AND MUSICAL CAREER

Professional percussionist specializing in Afro-Caribbean, Latin, and flamenco percussion, as well as in percussion setups across a variety of musical genres.


He studied music theory at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona and trained with renowned percussionists in Flamenco, Afro-Caribbean, and Latin traditions. He deepened his studies with several stays in Cuba, immersing himself in Afro-Cuban music.


He has performed and toured both nationally and internationally with various groups, appearing in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Based in Barcelona, Afro Latin Jam All Stars is a collective of accomplished musicians who, among many other performances, host a weekly jam session dedicated to “salsa dura”, Latin jazz, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. With outstanding quality and authenticity in every performance, this inclusive, vibrant, and multicultural gathering helps strengthen Barcelona’s reputation as one of Europe’s live salsa capitals.

Flamenco singer Cristian Saucedo embraces flamenco as a profound journey toward truth and beauty. As he himself puts it, “to be moved, in order to move others”—transcending any particular style or aesthetic. His voice, rich in depth and expression, brings intense drama to his singing, shaping a personal style that grows ever deeper and more authentic.

Throughout his career, Saucedo has incorporated into his repertoire classic palos such as Cante de Trilla, Soleares de Triana, Tientos-Tangos, Malagueñas, Bulerías from Utrera and Lebrija, Alegrías, Seguiriyas, Colombianas, Fandangos, and Bulerías from Jerez. With each performance, he continues to forge his own cante jondo style—marked by humility and respect—inviting audiences to experience the true, profound essence of flamenco.

Enma Fernández proudly stands as one of Barcelona’s most prolific musicians. The Moon in a Pot takes audiences on a profound journey through the emotional depths of a moon endlessly searching for its true essence. It presents happiness as an essential, non-negotiable tool for reconnection—a heartfelt celebration of optimism designed for all ages, including babies and early childhood.

This work embraces innovative ways to engage the audience, a hallmark of La Petita Malumaluga, a company made up of dancers and musicians. Employing an artistic language that steers clear of infantilization, the piece encourages a thoughtful reflection on children’s cultural programming and challenges traditional notions of what is deemed “appropriate” for young audiences.

Los Buenos Valedores honor the tradition of the romantic song trio, where the guitar serves as an indispensable companion, always accompanied by percussion. Their musical style blends boleros, rumbas, cha-cha-cha, waltzes, “cuplés por bulería”, swing, and rancheras, offering fresh and heartfelt reinterpretations of love and heartbreak songs.

With a performance that exudes emotion and elegance, they skillfully weave flamenco, Latin, and American guitar styles into a mesmerizing cultural fusion—evoking beauty and loss with nuanced touches of humor and sophistication.

LOS FULANOS

The explosive energy of Boogaloo.

Los Fulanos bring new life to boogaloo—a vibrant fusion of salsa, mambo, funk, soul, and rhythm & blues—with bold authenticity and explosive power. Their concerts are high-voltage celebrations, where the audience surrenders to the band’s infectious rhythm and energy.

Recognized on the music scene as true torchbearers of the genre’s revival, they went on to record with one of the key figures of Latin Soul, Joe Bataan. Together, they released King of Latin Soul (Vampi Soul). This collaboration led to a highly successful European tour, with Los Fulanos as Bataan’s official backing band.

They have also released Si Esto Se Acaba Que Siga el Boogaloo (Lovemonk) and Live at Jamboree (Satélite K), an album that captures the full intensity and charisma of their live performances—firmly establishing them as the undisputed kings of contemporary boogaloo.
