SOCIAL AND PARTICIPATORY DESIGN

Graduate in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holder of a master's degree in Ethnographic Research, Anthropological Theory, and Intercultural Relations from the same university.


Author of the book Com i per a qui es dissenya la ciutat (How and for Whom Is the City Designed?), published by Icaria Editorial. The book analyzes how the concept of security influences the design of public and private spaces in urban centers, focusing on recent urban development interventions in the Barceloneta neighborhood (Barcelona). It emphasizes the need to promote social justice in security policies related to urban planning and to democratize the processes involved in shaping the spaces we inhabit.


He worked for 10 years at FAD leading the project FAD Opinion Networks, advocating for the political and social dimensions of design in areas such as urban planning, public space, housing, tourism, heritage, and public art, while also collaborating on initiatives addressing corruption and inequality.


In the social sector, he works in the fields of participation and equality, both in civic organizations and in the private sector, and currently works at the consulting firm MOON.
